Maverick Region Tours are gatherings of PCA members and guests who meet up at a defined starting location and drive together, along an interesting route, to enjoy a unique place or destination. Tours generally last about three hours and run around 60-100 miles in length. Come join the fun and see this rolling car show!
For the 2018 season we have six tours spaced throughout the year. All of the tours are "near to home", and provide members with a beautiful scenic drive to a fun destination! All PCA members can participate in a tour for FREE.

As May arrives here in North Texas I think we can all say we are NOT ready for summer season. I bet we all agree that our spring and fall seasons are spectacular. Its time to get some great driving in! There is no better location to do this than farm-to-market Road 455!
Our 3rd tour for 2018 will take us just north of our metroplex on Saturday May 19th. On this tour you will experience a route that many call the best drive that is closest to home. If you own a Porsche and have never heard of farm to market road 455 than pay attention. Our start location for this tour will be in Van Alstyne which is just North of Dallas. Long straights, twisty turns, and beautiful open country scenery can be expected! You will see countless white picket fences, rolling pastures, picture perfect Porsche viability and we will also be encompassing Ray Roberts lake! This tour will take us through eleven cities. The route is two hours of drive time and 90.4 miles long. We will also have a rest stop on this tour. Our Mavericks will be completing this tour at Hula Hut located at 210 E Eldorado Pkwy, Little Elm, TX 75068. Hula Hut serves Mexonisian food with a perfect atmosphere for Maverick Enthusiasts. The location overlooks Lake Lewisville and Hydrous Wake Park. Views of Wake boarders doing flips and various stunts will be likely. Hula Hut also has a great parking lot and its owner is also an Porsche Enthusiast. You can register for the tour at http://mav.pca.org/Events/Tours/.
We have two classes now for our tours. Choose Vintage Class for a more relaxed scenic tour or Modern Class for the same type of tour that we have provided in the past. Which ever class you choose its your decision no matter the type of Porsche you drive. After registration we will send you all the information needed to attend three days before the tour. We hand out packets the day of the tour with all the information as well. The Drivers Briefing will begin at 9am so please arrive early so that you are signed in on time. Most tour attendees arrive early to meet new friends and socialize with familiar faces. Arriving early also helps our volunteers get everyone signed in on time so the tour is on schedule. No special navigation will be needed. Our Group Leaders will be familiar with the route and will guide each group of 14 cars or less in their group on the route.
