A High Performance Drivers Education (DE) event is an opportunity for Porsche owners and others to explore the handling of their performance cars and to learn the basics of high performance driving done safely. These extremely popular events are run on road course racetracks all over the country. As they are such a good value, they sell out quickly.

Have you ever wanted to find out what it feels like to drive on a race track, but were unwilling to shell out the $300+ to attend one of the clubs’ Drivers’ Education events? Well, here’s an opportunity to do it for free!
Part of what the club provides in return for your entry fee are the people who keep you safe on the track and keep everything running smoothly throughout the day. We need a larger pool of workers, so we’ve begun a work/drive program that benefits everyone. Work one weekend and you get a credit to drive a weekend in the future. You’ll be paired with an experienced safety worker, and get to watch the cars at speed from a vantage point like no other.
If you haven’t participated in DEs, this program will give you a great introduction into the sport, and maybe even turn you into a “track rat.” Lastly, if you don’t develop an interest in driving, you can continue to work future events and get paid $100 or more per day for your time.
For more information, please contact Wayne Elliott at 817-996-7447 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration for all DE's is done through ClubRegistration.net at register.pca.org. You must have a ClubRegistration account to register. (It's Free to signup!) Registration typically opens 1 month prior to the DE date. Be sure to sign up early to ensure a space!
|VIDEO: Parade laps at MotorSport Ranch
Watch this video to just get an idea of what it's like to drive at MotorSport Ranch. A Parade lap is where drivers go around the track at a slow speed in a single line. This is not an example of a DE session.
